Luxury Fireplaces from Escea

Escea, a Dunedin based manufacturer of luxury fireplaces, understands the important role that a fireplace can play in creating a focal point in your home.

The guiding philosophy of the company is that the home fireplace should not only be efficient and easy to use, it should be a thing of beauty. Nigel Bamford, CEO of Escea, refers to his company’s products as being “furniture with flames”.

Escea offers a range of indoor fireplaces ranging from the ultra wide (1360mm) IB1100 delivering 9 kW, through to the ST500, an ultra modern portrait fireplace producing 2.5 kW that is designed for adding ambience back into houses with heat pump or underfloor heating.

The “ST” Series fireplaces are also ideal for smaller rooms such as apartments, TV rooms, and bedrooms.

A range of fascias and fuel beds to suite the style of any modern home is available. The newly introduced New Zealand River Rock and Crystalight fuel beds are proving especially popular for a modern clean look, while the traditional log look will always be a favourite for many.

Optional reflective panels create the illusion of a much wider, more expansive fireplace by reflecting the dancing flames and fuelbed.

As well as providing a focal point for the inside of your home, Escea also offers the choice of gas or wood burning fireplaces for your outdoor area.

The EF5000 outdoor gas fireplace at 1280mm wide with the option of polished stainless steel or powder coated fascia creates a magnificent focal point to any outdoor entertaining area. The EF5000 provides 16.5 kW of heating - just ideal for outdoor entertaining that goes on into the evening.

For those who prefer the traditional, Escea now produces the EW5000, an outdoor wood burning cooking fire. The EW5000 allows the enjoyment of BBQ cooking the way it is meant to be done, over the embers of a charcoal or wood fire.
