Fastmount Panel Clip System an Award Winning Hidden Fixing Solution

Originally designed for the demanding super yacht industry, the range offers precise hidden fixing solutions to pre-finished panels for both interior and exterior applications.

Fastmount Panel Clip System is designed and manufactured in New Zealand and exported to more than 50 countries worldwide.

The company’s focus on social responsibility meant a conscious decision to contract and work with New Zealanders. “Manufacturing and assembly is done in South and West Auckland. Specifically, it is our social and cultural responsibility to support local communities,” says Mr Kelly, Director. Environmental responsibility is addressed through offices located in the company directors’ homes, ensuring the company’s footprint is kept to a minimum.

To meet the highly detailed architectural and interior design industries, Fastmount has developed a range of low profile clips. These clips are designed to be installed directly onto a prime substrate, such as plasterboard, eliminating the use of battens and reducing timely and costly installation procedures.

The low profile clip system was showcased at the 2011 DesignEx - BuildNZ Expo, where it took home the Supreme Product of the Show Award. The judges particularly liked the removability side of the system, where every panel can be ‘unclipped’ to access services, as well as allowing for the entire design to be reconfigured.“Fastmount is unique because the mounting system is invisible, with all fixings hidden,” Mr Farquhar said, “There is nothing else on the market like it”.

Fastmount has also recently announced that they are a finalist in the 2012 New Zealand International Business Awards (NZIBA). The award recognises the success by net return to the NZ economy for businesses with total annual revenue under $10 million.
