With roughly 3,500m² of office space and 50,000m² of manufacturing, storage and distribution areas, their enthusiastic adoption of advanced technology is echoed in the blueprint of the building. Dormakaba generated a detailed specification and schedule for the hardware requirements of the facility, as well as automatic door requirements and specific design and custom needs.

Dormakaba's approach to the specifications focuses on being a one stop shop — a single solution source covering every aspect of the building's architectural hardware, security and access control needs. This often reduces the need for additional consultants and ensures seamless integration of the hardware, security and access control requirements, as well as compliance with relevant building standards and codes.

The DORMA BTS 84 is a double action floor spring which has been specially developed for the aluminium and toughened glass door industries.

This unit is intended to complement our internationally acclaimed RTS concealed overhead door closer by giving the shopfitting industry the option of a DORMA quality floor spring designed for their particular purpose.

The BTS 84 has many of the features of the other DORMA BTS closers with the addition of reduced depth and an array of accessories designed for the aluminimum door fabricator and toughened glass door manufacturer.

It can be adapted to individual requirements. With an installation depth of just 40mm, it offers the particular advantage of only requiring a shallow pocket, thus enabling problem-free installation.

The DORMA ES 200 encompasses a stylish and modern cover design, a motor that ensures a virtually silent operation, a microprocessor that automatically controls the opening and closing speeds of the door, an energy saving power unit and new programming functions allowing for quick and simple installation, set-up and maintenance.

The equipment is designed for mid range commercial automatic sliding doors with maximum door weights of 170kg per single door and 140kg for bi-parting doors.

Suitable for framed doors or frameless glass doors upto 15mm thick.

The equipment may be fully integrated into a Building Management System with all appropriate outputs

It can even be supplied with additional anti-corrosion protection for exposed applications or aggressive conditions.

Add a Hold-Open Arm: Combining the TS 83 with a hold-open arm enables the door to be held open at an appropriate angle (up to approx. 150 degrees). The hold-open function in the standard hold-open arm can be switched on and off by the user by simply pressing a switch.
