What Are We Doing to Help Canterbury?

"Our business is on hold at the moment – still responding to emails etc, but our focus is currently on helping our community by doing volunteer work with Comfort Christchurch.

We are displaced and have relocated, mainly due to sanitation issues – our yard already smells of sewerage, without adding any more to it. Power and water went on a couple of days ago, but no point in adding water and sewerage to a system that is already pouring it over our roads and footpaths.

Please know that we have assisted one architectural designer move precious belongings out of his house/business (before it is red-stickered). Please let other architects and designers know that their own are seriously affected, and anything the rest of their “own” community can do to will be appreciated."

What are you doing to assist? by leaving a comment below you can inform the greater building community to ways we can all do our bit to help Canterbury recover and get on to the road to recovery.
