Exclusive 2013 Architectural and Design Documentary Series

With the success of the EBOSS invite-only 2012 architectural documentaries, we will be screening a range of recent feature films in 2013 on all kinds of subjects that includes architecture, design and urban planning. The evenings will be held from April to December throughout Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Dunedin.

One of the titles in the 2013 series is Urbanized, by Gary Hustwit, a feature-length documentary about the design of cities, which looks at the issues and strategies behind urban design and features some of the world’s foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders, and thinkers.

The evenings we hosted in 2012, had an overwhelming response with over 700 architects and designers attending the films titled Infinite Space - the The Architecture of John Lautner, Visual Acoustics - The Modernism of Julius Shulman and Citizen Architect - Samuel Mockbee and the Spirit of the Rural Studio.

These nights were brought together with help from a number of sponsors including James Hardie, Resene, Asona,  Dorma, NZ Steel, Jenkin Timber, Climate, Potters, Marley, Bradford, Metalcraft group, Pink Batts, Jacobsens, Velux, Akzonobel, ADNZ, GIB, Tile Warehouse and ACO NZ.
