In conjunction with the Christchurch, Selwyn District and Waimakariri District Councils DBH have released this document to speed the process to complete the repair work due to the recent earthquake activities. These exceptions are only for these districts and for work completed prior to 11 September 2011.

The list seems sensible and all work must comply with the NZ Building code.
