Triton Pool Panel
Description

Triton Pool™ panels are a proprietary edge wrapped 50 mm thick, high sound absorbing, acoustical panel designed for high level swimming pool ceilings. The back of the panel is laminated with an impermeable foil, edges reinforced with a concealed aluminium frame then laminated and edge wrapped in water repellent Sonatex glass mat acoustic facing.

Manufactured in NZ, from bio-soluble glass fibre core, aluminium framed, wrapped in 2 ply Sonatex™ glass mat composite finish sprayed with water repellent and with a foil backer.

Scope of Use

Triton Pool™ panels designed for pool environments and are to be mounted to allow free movement of conditioned air between and behind the panels to reduce the risk of interstitial condensation.

Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings.

Limitations on Use
  • Not for exterior use
  • Installation shall not commence until the building is watertight and dry
  • Light fittings shall be independently supported
  • Backloading max. 1.5 kg/m², point loads shall be independently supported
  • Max 99% R/H at 45°C. Face not designed for direct contact with water
  • Control humidity to prevent condensation forming on panels
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Fire Reaction - NZBC verification method C/VM2 material group number: 1-S. Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings.
  • Clause B2 — durability, 5 years
