Regal Series Pools provide an attractive and practical swimming pool option for a range of projects — from domestic backyards, and apartment developments, to hotels and motels. Constructed for greater strength, the pools meet NZBC compliance with B1, B2, E1 and F9 and have been specifically designed for NZ conditions, including expansive clay and seismic zones. 

The unique design of the Regal Series Pool makes it highly usable for swimming, sports and relaxation alike. The wide entry steps provide entry to both shallow and deep ends of the pool, with a safety ledge and large second step relaxation zone. At the same time, the pool features an unobstructed 4m swimming lane that provides ample space for swimming, volleyball and other pool activities.

Strong and durable

PoolHouse pools are constructed using graphene nanotechnology — an alternative to porous fibreglass which delivers 200x the strength of steel. The graphene provides a stronger, thicker core that reinforces the shell of the pool by distributing mechanical loads efficiently, without adding to the weight of the pool. 

In addition, the pools feature a self-supporting 200mm edge beam, which ensures the strength is engineered into the pool, with no secondary engineering works required like bond beams. The pool surface is finished with a dual-layer gelcoat that resists UV and chemical wear for exceptional long-term durability. 

30% lighter than standard fibre glass

The graphene nanotechnology used makes PoolHouse pools 30% lighter than those using standard fibreglass. This reduces crane and transport costs, and minimises the structural load, making it possible to install pools in areas where heavier materials aren’t possible. 

Customisable design to suit your project

PoolHouse pools feature a number of customisable design features to suit different project requirements. Some key features available are: 

• A rebate to produce a horizon/infinity pool effect
• Shallow wader areas for pools used by children
• A spa pool added to the edge of a pool
• Fountains, cascading water features and swim jets
• Ability to add tiles for whole pool or just waterline

Plus designers and their clients can choose from 5 core colours and 7 bespoke colours.

Design support

The PoolHouse technical team takes a collaborative approach to each project, working with designers to provide any support required. This includes discussing different design options, providing CAD and BIM-ready pool models, assisting with acceptable fencing and safety edge solutions, and providing engineered drawings for plans. 

Their team provides site assessments, and have a geotechnical engineer available on request where further engineering is required. They can take care of the full consenting process for your project, or can work with you to ensure you have all structural and planning documents required for consent application. 

On-site, PoolHouse can offer full project management — helping to ensure that all elements are under control, from preparation and excavation, to installation and handover. They liaise directly with architects and builders to provide site coordination and install forecasting to suit project timelines.  

History of use

The PoolHouse, formerly Aquatechnics, have been bringing pools to Kiwi projects for over 45 years. The PoolHouse’s Regal Series pools have been on the market for 15 years, where they have become an incredibly popular option.

Warranty & maintenance

PoolHouse pools are extremely low maintenance thanks to their high performance dual-layer coating. Antibacterial properties are built into the surface of the coating, making it resistant to algae and bacterial growth. The high gloss finish of the gelcoat also resists chemical build-up and adhesions to the surface, keeping pools cleaner for longer. 

The pools are covered by a world-first lifetime surface guarantee and a lifetime warranty. The warranty not only covers the original owners of the pool, but can be transferred to secondary owners if the property is sold. 

Environmental performance

Made of ceramic and fibreglass, PoolHouse pools offer a lower carbon alternative to pools made of more carbon-intensive materials like concrete and steel. The light weight of the pools also means fewer carbon emissions during transport. All PoolHouse pools are Climate Care certified — an initiative of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia (SPASA) which analyses the environmental impact of swimming pools and spas.
