Louvretec Opening Roofs also provide shelter and privacy, and allow for light, shade and airflow temperature control — providing year round usability of an outdoor space. The Opening Roof blades open and follow the sun with their wide range of blade rotation and can be motorised or hand-operated.

Available in clear PVC or Mesh Shade, Louvretec Outdoor Blinds are custom-fitted and can be fully integrated with a Louvretec Opening Roof. Louvretec's Architectural and Suburban Direct Series of opening roofs provide true indoor-outdoor living.

Opening Roofs are generally installed horizontally overhead. Can be installed on an angle. Can be an irregular shape (refer Louvretec design office) and can be motorized or manually adjustable using the Louvretec Spiral Pivot system
The Spiral pivot system allows for 180° rotation of the louvres
Louvre/Beam/Post spans, as per tables 1 and 2, section 12 of the Louvretec Product Catalogue, are certified by Markplan Consulting Limited (Consulting Structural Engineers) and meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1170:2011, NZS3604:2011, AS/NZ 1664:1997
