Improve Hygiene with the Tempomatic 4 Electronic Tap

In public and commercial buildings water saving is a key issue; taps are used intensively and users can be careless (failing to turn the tap off after use). Automatic shut-off when hands are removed from the detection area removes any risk of waste through user negligence. For example, the TEMPOMATIC 4 is fitted with a flow straightener regulated at three litres per minute which achieves a 90% water saving compared to a domestic tap. This allows facilities managers to optimise the water bill whilst preserving user comfort.

Hygiene First

Electronic taps are also the best solution to hygiene issues and infection control. The water flows when the detector senses hands (no germ deposits) and the water shuts off automatically when hands are removed from the detection zone. The lack of manual contact prevents the spread of germs by hand.

If unused for prolonged periods (e.g. isolated points-of-use, facilities closed during holidays, etc.), water in the pipework is not renewed, which inevitably favours the development of bacteria. The TEMPOMATIC 4 has an anti-bacterial duty flush. An automatic flush takes place for approximately 60 seconds every 24 hours after the last use.

Since there is no electrical connection required, the TEMPOMATIC 4 is very quick to install and operates immediately without any adjustments. It is easy to maintain; batteries can be replaced without shutting off the water supply or removing the tap.
