Silestone Sunlit Days Brings New Mediterranean-Inspired Surfaces to Interiors

The sun-drenched Mediterranean is one of the world’s most beautiful regions — a picturesque destination with stunning coast lines, lush vegetation and rich desert earth. The new Silestone Sunlit Days is a collection of matt surfaces inspired by the stunning beauty and slow pace of the Mediterranean. The five natural colours are timeless and nostalgic, bringing a fresh approach to vintage hues into kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. Silestone Sunlit Days is manufactured with HybriQ+ Technology and is Silestone’s first series with a Carbon Neutral Certification.

The five natural colours are nostalgic yet modern, vintage yet fresh. Imbued with emotion and sentiment, they evoke the spirit of the Mediterranean — its slow pace of life, beautiful light, natural landscapes and charming architecture. The colour palette and matt surfaces bring a much-needed injection of colour into interiors and are versatile enough to combine a variety of different hues and materials.

Cala Blue is a modern, deep blue that has depth and versatility. It combines with dark hues and timbers for a sophisticated look, and with neutrals and light timbers for a fresh or beachy space.

Posidonia Green is full of light and serene, inherently evoking a connection with nature. It stands out against white, and works beautifully with greys and natural materials, such as timber, bamboo and concrete.

Arcilla Red is inspired by the earth, with a rich terracotta colour that changes with the light. It infuses warmth into a space, whether paired with timber or bright white.

Cincel Grey swings between warm and cool and evokes the feeling of a velvety texture. The versatile colour can be the main character in a space or support other colours or materials to take the spotlight.

Faro White instils calm and tranquillity in a space. The powdered white adds depth to a light, neutral palette, and teams beautifully with natural materials.

Subtle grain and depth give each colour an aged look, appearing flat when viewed from afar, but with richness, texture and layers seen up close. The colours themselves lend to a variety of applications, being most popular for kitchen and bathroom benchtops and splashbacks, as well as bathroom flooring and sinks. With large-format sizes, continuous surfaces can be achieved for a seamless look.

This unique design of Silestone Sunlit Days is made possible with HybriQ+ technology that offers beauty, performance and sustainability. HybriQ+ technology is a new manufacturing process that uses 100% renewable energy, 98% recycled water and a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials. This new technology significantly reduces the presence of crystalline silica although it still offers the same hardness, stain resistance and low porosity that Silestone is renowned for.
