Dekton by Cosentino Unveils Two Beautiful New Collections

In its latest collection, Kraftizen, Cosentino pays tribute to both craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. The five versatile ultracompact Dekton surfaces come in a large format and beautiful colours with rich, deep hues inspired by Venetian stucco. They comprise a series of carbon neutral surfaces with texture and integrity that are created for design-led claddings, floorings and façades. Umber is a timeless terracotta with a warm, earthy personality. Nacre looks like mother-of-pearl, with a silky and textured finish. Argentium is a matte gray that works in both warm and monochromatic aesthetics. Micron is elegant and restrained and deep, dark gray. Albarium is a peaceful, powdery white.

Onirika, Dekton’s second new range, has been designed by award-winning international interior designer Nina Magon. “With Dekton technology, we are able to create our own colours and structures, bringing to life something that is unique, beautiful and irreplaceable,” explains Magon. “We want designers, architects, and people around the world to see that the product can be used on walls, ceilings, façades, outdoor spaces, and more.”

Onirika showcases dramatically patterned surfaces, representing a world of dreams, as it blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. Awake is a re-interpretation of Paonazzo stone, with thick veins of greys, terracotta, and a hint of inky blues. Somnia boasts warm oxide browns and whites, designed to be paired with warm dark woods and copper. Morpheus displays pale details to complement wood, grey and gold in Dekton’s Velvet Texture finish. Neural combines elegance and structure in fine, pale veins on a marbled background. Trance features warm streaks in oxides and reddish gold. Daze recreates a Calacatta pattern with thick veins in light and dark greys and a touch of gold.

Both Kraftizen and Onirika feature Dekton’s unique technical properties, such as resistance to UV, scratches, stains, and thermal shock, and very low water absorption. They are manufactured in large-format slabs (up to 3200 x 1440mm) in five different thicknesses (4mm, 8mm, 12mm, 20mm and 30mm).

Sustainable development and a circular economic model are essential components to the respect and protection of the environment. Dekton is manufactured with sustainable processes and to incorporate recycled materials, making it the only full life-cycle Carbon Neutral surface, from cradle to grave. Dekton offers a 25-year warranty.
