AGP Glass Goes Live on EBOSS

AGP, which shipped its first product five years ago, is the dominant glass supplier to leading national window brands, Altherm, First and Vantage, and is based at its 5-Greenstar facility in Cambridge where highly automated production lines allow tight quality control and consistency.

AGP was established to solve APL’s manufacturer network’s problem of uneven quality and supply reliability of Insulated Glass Units (IGU’s) and has now moved to document its core range of glass products on the EBOSS platform.

“We appreciate that EBOSS is one of the primary tools for specifiers accessing product information,” says Lachlan Stanton, a qualified architect who is leading AGP support services to the New Zealand design fraternity. “Uploading all relevant information to make glass specification easier has been a primary objective, and is now in place, along with full specifications on Masterspec, including for commercial projects."

“AGP has listened to the specifier market and their request for better technical glass support, and that is what we have now put in place,” says Lachlan.

AGP documentation available online now includes a full information package for all aspects of the ‘AGP System’, including its warm-edge ATS - Architectural Thermal Spacer, Argon gas and its Solux-E or Solux-Ultra low emissivity (low-e) coatings which were developed specifically for New Zealand conditions.

Additional information packs deal with condensation, aspects of visual quality, Declare labelling, Environmental Product Declarations and guidelines around H1 Energy Efficiency in the Building Code applicable to glass and window systems.

Lachlan Stanton pointed out that AGP glass is designed to integrate seamlessly with APL window and door systems, with customisable sizes and configurations available, including double and triple glazing, as well as tinted, reflective, obscure, printed and commercial options. “The window system approach provides assurance around quality, integration and performance of installed windows and doors. This approach is a clear value-add for our direct and indirect customers.”

AGP offers an industry-leading 12-year warranty.
