Three Solutions for Temporary Interior and Floor Protection

In a typical commercial interior or office fit-out the carpet/flooring is often installed prior to the internal partitions/sliders. At this stage there is still plenty of work to be done and it can be very easy for this flooring to become dirty or affected – by dirt being dragged in from contractors walking in and out, from paint/glue spillages, metal filings/swarf or simply from the spreading of sanding dust.

With most things, prevention is always better than cure, and by spending a little time in preparation – using Potters' temporary floor/door jamb protection – this can certainly save in preventing costly call backs later on. These call backs can sometimes involve carpet cleaning, repairs or replacement of damaged items and often a certain amount of embarrassment – all of which have not usually been prepared for in the initial contract pricing.

Polywoven

Polywoven is a water and weather resistant material for interior and exterior applications. This quality and cost-effective carpet and floor protection is a woven-reinforced product which resists ripping and comes in easy-to-handle 2 x 50 metre rolls.

Protective Board

Protective Board is a 100 per cent recycled heavy duty, reinforced product engineered to protect new and existing floors from the heavy demands on the job site. Non-staining and breathable – allowing for the continued curing of new floors, grouts or glues. It is a perfect solution when protecting concrete, wood, tile, stone, linoleum, vinyl composition, terrazzo, epoxy, and most other floor types.

Protective Door Jamb

Avoid re-work and replacement, and protect your commercial and residential door jambs from dents, and surface finishes from scratches and dings that occur during construction, decorating or moving premises.

Don’t let accidents cost you time and money; visit Potters before your next job.
