Resene Room Velvet
Description

Resene Room Velvet dries to a beautiful, even, silky low sheen finish. Based on a tough hybrid waterborne alkyd resin to give fast drying and durability in all hardwearing areas.

  • Colour: Selection of white and colours off-white from the Resene Total Colour System
  • Excellent for wet areas where a durable and attractive finish is required as it does not exhibit surfactant leaching
  • Excellent flow for a smooth, even low sheen finish
  • Easy to clean or wash surface
  • May be applied over a wide range of temperatures

Scope of Use

Suitable for walls and ceilings especially in wet areas, such as:

  • Architraves
  • Bathrooms
  • Kitchens
  • Laundries
  • Plywood and wallboards
  • Skirtings
Limitations on Use
  • Not for exterior use
  • Ensure the correct primer or sealer is used
  • Not for use as first coat on fibre or particle board, use Quick Dry (see Data Sheet D45) on particle board. On fibre cement board use Resene Sureseal (see Data Sheet D42)
  • Not for use as first coat on hardboard, use Resene Sureseal
  • Not suitable for direct application to cementitious surfaces, use Resene Sureseal or Resene Quick Dry
  • Drying may be affected by low temperatures and high humidity
