Stryüm Aluminium Panel Cladding System is certified for use as an external wall cladding on buildings:

• Designed:
  
  • with Stryüm S batten supports (maximum 600mm spacing) as nominated in the Stryüm technical literature, and
  • in accordance with NZS 3604:2011 for timber framed buildings, or
  • in accordance with NZS 3404:2009 Part 1 and NASH Standard Part 2: May 2019 Light Steel Framed Buildings, or
  • in accordance with NZS 4229:2013 for masonry buildings, and
  • with Substrate and cladding framing deflections not exceeding Span/250, and
  • located in Wind zone (NZS 3604:2011) up to and including Very High, or

Stryüm Aluminium Panel Cladding System is certified for use as an external wall cladding on buildings:

• where a flexible wall underlay is used with the Stryüm Aluminium Panel Cladding System, with the following wind pressure limits:
  
  • SLS wind pressure: -2.5 to +2.0 kPa, and
  • ULS wind pressure: -5.25 to +4.0 kPa, and
• where a rigid wall underlay is used with the Stryüm Aluminium Panel Cladding System, with the following wind pressure limits:
  
  • SLS wind pressure: -4.0 to +3.5 kPa, and
  • ULS wind pressure: -5.25 to + 4.0 kPa where non-combustible cladding materials are permitted, and
• located anywhere with respect to a relevant boundary, and
• when required, intumescent cavity barriers as specified in the STYRUM technical literature shall be installed in accordance with NZBC
  Acceptable Solution C/AS2
• located in Exposure Zones B, C & D as defined in NZS 3604:2011 section 4.2

• Stryüm wall cladding shall be installed by Paneltec trained & approved building professionals, in accordance with the Stryüm applicable technical literature.
• Stryüm Aluminium Panel Cladding System with panel installation other than vertical or horizontal, and on non-vertical surfaces (eg. used as parapet capping) is outside the scope of the CodeMark certificate.
• Stryüm Woodgrain finish is not to be used on the exterior walls of buildings that have C3.5 & C3.7 requirements or where non-combustible cladding materials are required (the thicker Woodgrain Powder Coat finish has not been tested for Non-combustibility).

The System if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the conditions of this Certificate will comply with or contribute to
compliance with the following performance provisions of the NZ Building Code:

• Clause B1 STRUCTURE: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2 and B1.3.4, for the relevant physical conditions of
  B1.3.3 (a), (f), (h), (j) & (m)
• Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1 (b) 15 years and B2.3.2 (a)
• Clause C3 FIRE AFFECTING AREAS BEYOND THE FIRE SOURCE: Performance C3.5 (contributes to) & C3.7 (a)
• Clause E2 EXTERNAL MOISTURE: Performance E2.3.2, E2.3.5 (contributes to), E2.3.6 (contributes to) & E2.3.7
• Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1
