Induracore G2 is an ideal facade system for all types of construction and has been used extensively on:

The INDURACORE G2 external cladding system is certified for use as an external wall cladding on buildings:

• Designed, while considering the design limits of the cladding system:
  • in accordance with NZS 3604:2011 for timber framed buildings, or
  • in accordance with NZS 3404:2009 Part 1 and NASH Standard Part 2: May 2019 for Light Steel Framed Buildings, or
  • for a specific wind pressure up to a maximum ULS of 2.5 kPa and SLS of 1.5 kPa with a deflection limit of L/250; and
• within the scope limitations of the NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 for all Wind Zones up to, and including Extra High (as defined in NZS 3604:2011) provided that:
  • A rigid air barrier is used when located in an Extra High Wind Zone, or
  • Either a flexible building wrap or rigid air barrier in wind zones other than Extra High, and
• in all Exposure Zones as defined in NZS3604:2011 paragraph 4.2.4, provided all fixings are in accordance with section 4 of NZS3604:2011

The INDURACORE G2 external cladding system is certified for use as an internal wall lining in buildings, where Group Number 1-S materials are permitted as set out in Performance Clause C3.4 (a) and in any area of the building (except located adjacent to sanitary features or sanitary appliances; or where it is likely to be splashed or become contaminated during use; or behind cooking appliances).

• Use outside the scope of the CodeMark certificate must be reviewed by an engineer.
• Must be specified, installed and maintained in accordance with INDURACORE G2 technical literature

The system, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the conditions of this Certificate will comply with or contribute to compliance with the following performance provisions of the NZ Building Code:

• Clause B1 STRUCTURE: Performance B1.3.1, B1.3.2 & B1.3.4; for the relevant physical conditions of B1.3.3 (a), (f), (h), (j) & (m)
• Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1(b) 15 years & B2.3.2(a)
• Clause C3 FIRE AFFECTING AREAS BEYOND THE FIRE SOURCE: Performance C3.4 (a), C3.5 (contributes to) & C3.7 (b) & (c)
• Clause E2 EXTERNAL MOISTURE: Performance E2.3.2, E2.3.5 (contributes to), E2.3.6 (contributes to) & E2.3.7
• Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1
