Pacific PFW120 Fuego Steel Fire Window
Description

The Pacific Forster Fuego -/120/120 is a fixed glazing, steel-framed fire-rated window. It provides 120 minutes of integrity and 120 minutes of insulation.

Scope of Use
  • The thickness of the window frame is 110mm with an approximate glazed weight of 126 kg/m²
  • This is a double-glazed window especially suited to exterior applications where increased thermal insulation is required.

Wall Types:

  • The Pacific Steel Fire Window -/120/120 is suitable for installation in timber or steel stud plasterboard walls and masonry fire-rated walls. Walls to be fire rated to minimum -/120/120 by others. The standard installation method for steel or timber stud walls is by 12g screws at max. 450 mm centres.
  • The standard for Masonry installation is M8 Excalibur screwbolts (or similar) at max. 450mm centres. No fasteners are exposed to weather or attack face.

Finish:

  • Standard preparation for interior use is powder coating.
  • Standard preparation for exterior use is sandblasting followed by zinc arc spray (15-year weatherability grade) to the frame.
  • Unit can be delivered with a powder coat finish or primed, ready to paint.
Limitations on Use
  • Exterior applications: There is currently no weathertightness testing performed on this window.
  • The maximum allowed clear view is 3.282m². Height or width can go up to 2370mm, but will be limited by the overall clear view. Multiple panes may be joined by transoms/mullions. The total overall frame height is 3015mm. There is no overall width limitation.

    • Pyrostop 52 INT: 0.384 Km²/W
