• Prime Porcelain is suitable for use as a benchtop, splashback, vanity top or commercial countertop.   
• It can be used in both indoor and outdoor kitchens.

Prime Porcelain must be fabricated by a professional adhereing to the standards in our Fabrication Guide with the necessary supporting structures.  It is not designed as a flooring tile.

When Prime Porcelain is to be used as a splashback careful consideration should be given in the planning and design stage to ensure that the minimum distances between the splashback and the electric cooktop or gas hobs as specified in AS/NZS 4386 and AS/NZS 5601, as well as any specific requirements specified by the appliance manufacturer, are allowed for. Under-bench mounted induction hobs and warmers can be used with Prime Porcelain. Please consult the appliance manufacturer for detailed installation requirements and suitability for use. 

New Zealand Building Code Clause B2 Durability: Prime Porcelain meets the durability requirements of 5 years in accordance with B2 3.1 (c) New Zealand Building Code Clause G3 Food Preparation and Prevention of Contamination: Prime Porcelain meets the requirements for food preparation surfaces in accordance with G3.3.2 NZ Building Act Section 26: Prime Porcelain is not subject to a warning or ban under Section 26 of the Building Act.

Made from natural minerals, Prime Porcelain is a similar composition to most porcelain surfaces found in the NZ market which are chosen for their long-lasting durability and appearance attributes which can mimic natural stone.
