Can be specified as part of the Mitsubishi Electric OmniCore Multi Room System for projects requiring multiple indoor units with one outdoor unit (see separate listing).

Indoor Unit should not be used/installed where: 

• Airflow is blocked 
• Where the unit is exposed to direct/reflective sunshine 
• At a distance 1m or less from the TV or radio. Operation of the air conditioner may interfere with radio or TV reception 
• Where the unit is close to fluorescent and incandescent lights so the infrared remote control can operate the air conditioner normally 
• Where the ceiling is not strong enough to withstand the weight of the unit 
• Where air filter is inaccessible 
• Where the unit is close to another heat or steam source 

The Outdoor Unit should not be used/installed where: 

• The unit is exposed to continuous direct sunlight or other sources of heat 
• Where the unit can be covered by snow 
• Where the unit is closer than 3m from a TV antenna or a radio antenna (Otherwise, images would be disturbed or noise would be generated.)
• Where a rigid wall or support is not available to prevent the increase of operational sound or vibration.
• Where neighbours are annoyed by operational sound or hot air.

The full range of Mitsubishi Electric products have been tested and registered in accordance with MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) requirements.

It is also important to note that any heat pump outdoor unit installed without a compliant cover within 1.2m of a balcony rail will fall outside of these requirements. Mitsubishi Electric highly recommend Heat Pump Covers Ltd products in these situations, and have many examples of successful installations on multi-story apartment balcony spaces using Heat Pump Covers Ltd products.

Current R32 Cassette models have been installed in New Zealand homes since 2018.

Warranty

Units are supported by a 5 year warranty, including parts and labour.

Filters should be cleaned on a regular basis. Time between cleaning varies based on the model and filter type. Please refer to the unit’s Operating Manual for filter maintenance information.
