Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pumps are a heat source for hydronic space heating such as underfloor circuits and radiators as well as domestic hot water.

Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pumps can be retrofitted to existing hydronic/water underfloor systems.

Underfloor heating is evenly distributed; radiant heating that provides the ultimate in unobtrusive comfort. Hidden from view, underfloor heating is particularly suited to modern open plan layouts with higher stud and exposed ceilings as well as bathrooms.

• Available in a wide range of capacities, from 5kW to 23kW (with the option to cascade up to 6 units of the same capacity for up to 138kW)
• Specific models with Zubadan Technology provide guaranteed heating in temperatures as low as -25°C
• Low outdoor unit noise levels — ideal for medium density residential areas

• Only used in combination with Hydronic underfloor heating (not electric wire).
• System contains an indoor and outdoor component. Internal space is a requirement for indoor cylinder or Hydrobox. 
• It is recommended heat load calculations are completed to ensure system has adequate capacity for the installation (for other capacity options see the Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pump range). Mitsubishi Electric has a team ready to assist with calculations and design plans.

Warranty

Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pumps come with a full 5 year warranty as standard, subject to the following conditions:

• The Ecodan purchase and installation is registered with Black Diamond Technologies Limited (BDT).
• The Ecodan must be installed and commissioned by a trained BDT installer.
