Metro’s Acoustic Glazing range provides specialised glass solutions designed to reduce sound transmission through windows, doors, partitions and façades. Acoustic laminated glass uses a sound-dampening interlayer between two sheets of glass to reduce vibration and improve acoustic performance compared with standard monolithic glass. It can be used as single glazing or incorporated into a double-glazed unit, with the final glass make-up selected to suit the project’s required sound reduction.

Acoustic performance depends on the complete building system, including the glass, frame, seals, wall construction, ventilation openings and installation.
