Description

This is a complete sustainable waterproofing system for installing ceramic tiles in bathrooms and damp environments with high mould resistance.

The system consists of a bond slurry, screed, waterproofing membrane, waterproofing tape, adhesive, grout and sealant; certified with a range of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Health Product Declarations (HPD), Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) testing, as well as CO2e Fully Offset products.

Scope of Use

PLANICRETE is a synthetic-rubber latex which when combined with MAPECEM, a special hydraulic binder, creates a cementitious bonding slurry with excellent adhesion
MAPECEM PRONTO is a pre-blended, ready-to-use, quick-setting and drying (24 hours) controlled-shrinkage mortar for screeds
A Mapei waterproofing membrane can be applied after 4 hours of applying screed
MAPELASTIC AQUADEFENSE is a ready-to-use, ultra quick-drying, flexible waterproofing membrane. It forms an excellent grip and its flexibility helps it withstand movements caused by expansion and shrinkage of the substrate
MAPEBAND SA is a self-adhesive tape for waterproofing corners between floors and walls, made from butyl rubber with alkali-resistant, non-woven polypropylene fabric to guarantee excellent adhesion for the waterproofing system
ULTRALITE S1 FLEX is a deformable, lightweight, cementitious adhesive with extremely high yield and low VOC emissions. Thanks to its high yield and lighter bags, it allows reduction in consumption rates and transport costs
ULTRACOLOR PLUS is a anti-efflorescence, quick-setting and drying polymer-modified mortar with water-repellent DropEffect and mould-resistant BioBlock technology for grouting joints
MAPESIL AC is a pure acetic silicone sealant, highly elastic and resistant to mould
Use ULTRACARE SMOOTH SILICONE to smooth and finish the sealants, easing dirt pickup and preventing future mould formation
