Kingspan RW Trapezoidal

The Kingspan RW Trapezoidal roof and wall panel system products consist of Zincalume sheets that contain a PIR core.

A through-fixed panel which can be installed vertically or horizontally depending on the desired aesthetics, Kingspan's trapezoidal roof and wall panels are quicker to install, require less manual labour than conventional multi-part site-assembled systems and are designed to meet thermal building regulation compliance.

Available in lengths from 2.0m up to 11.8m, Kingspan's trapezoidal roof and wall panels are CodeMark- and GreenTAG-certified and hold an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) based on a cradle-to-grave life cycle assessment.

Scope of Use

KS1000 RW is a through-fixed, trapezoidal profiled roof system which can be used for building applications with roof pitches of 4° or more after deflection. For lower pitches, please contact Kingspan.

All Kingspan panels, including the Trapezoidal roof and wall panels, are typically tested up to 3.6kPa for normal conditions (ULS) and up to 15kPa for cyclonic conditions (ULS). These limits easily exceed the requirements of NZS3604, up to and beyond the Extra High wind zones.

KS1000 RW is CodeMark-certified, and therefore, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the scope of the Certificate, the Trapezoidal RW insulated roof and wall panel will meet the following provisions of the NZBC:

  • B2 Durability: B2.3.1(b),
  • C3 Spread of Fire: C3.4(a),
  • E2 External Moisture: E2.3.1, E2.3.2 , E2.3.6
