Description

Designed in Italy to comply with NZ/Australian standards, SE H4 is a flexible, side-emitting LED strip light that does not require traditional aluminium profiles or plastic diffusers and can be press-fitted without glue or adhesives into curved milled grooves or rings (minimum radius 15mm), making it ideal for decorative lighting installations in addition to practical task and accent lighting.

Ideal for use in kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, cupboards and pantries, wardrobes, furniture, cabinetry and for decorative/creative use.

SE H4 is a slim micro profile 4mm wide and 8mm deep and has a ‘no dots’ effect. SE H4 may be installed recessed or surface mounted or within a profile.

Standard SE H4-24 is available in Natural White and Warm White light colours.
SE H4-24 Pro D-Motion Dual Colour provides both Natural White and Warm White light colours in one luminaire.

Key Features

Recessed installation — press fit in 4mm (w) x 8mm (d) routed groove. A consistent profile dimension from end to end (no protruding endcaps) means preparation for installation is straightforward. When recessed, SE H4 presents a perfectly flush surface.
Surface installation options – toekick/kickboard clips are available separately to enable simple installation under vase cabinets, with no pre-milling or prep required.
Profile installation – though not required, SE H4 may be integrated into aluminium profiles eg Domus Line Tynn angled profile
Standard SE H4 is available in lengths of 2m, 3m and 5m and is supplied pre-wired at both ends with 2000mm power cables and Micro24 male connectors. May be cut at 33.3mm increments.
SE H4-24 Pro D-Motion Dual Colour is available in lengths of 2m, 3m and 6m and is supplied pre-wired at both ends with 2000mm power cables and Micro24 male connectors. May be cut anywhere along the strip – no set gradations.
Double wiring allows for the strip to be trimmed to fit and for offcuts to be used, minimising waste and cost.
Luminaire to power cord connection is robust and the cord may exit axially or radially to the installation surface.
Power supply (LED driver) must be ordered separately.
Multiple lengths may be run from a distributor block providing driver capacity is sufficient.
Standard SE HE-24 is available in Natural White and Warm White light colours and may be cut at 33.3mm increments.
SE H4-24 Pro D-Motion Dual Colour provides both Natural White and Warm White light colours in one luminaire. This allows end users to trial and select light colour after installation rather than trying to predict how the various light tones will look in their environment. Light colour can also be altered at any time to suit their mood.
SE H4-24 Pro D-Motion Dual Colour also offers FREECUT innovation, meaning you can cut the strip at any point rather than at predetermined gradations, without creating unlit spots.
SE H4 is IP44 rated.

Scope of Use

SE H4 is IP44 rated and is therefore suitable for interior use in
kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, cupboards and pantries, wardrobes, furniture and cabinetry.

In-Service History

FIT first brought SE H4 to the New Zealand market in September 2023 and it has since been specified in a wide range of projects.

Domus Line Srl was founded in 1996 in Porcia, Italy, and specialises in lighting solutions for furniture and home furnishing, specifically in LED technology. They have overseas branches in Germany and Mexico and export to over 70 countries across five continents.

Domus Line’s Integrated Management System is compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018.

The system is certified and supervised by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS), an independent body accredited by The International Certification Network (IQNet).

Warranty

FIT warrants the original purchaser of electrical products against manufacturing defects for the length of the manufacturer’s warranty. DOMUS LINE warrants their lighting products for 2 years from date of purchase.

The warranty covers replacements for faulty goods only. Replacements will be supplied to the original purchaser only. If the identical item is no longer available, FIT will replace with the closest item from their current product selection. The warranty does not include any labour or other associated expense that may be involved in removal or installation of the product. The warranty does not apply if products have been incorrectly installed, have been subjected to loads in excess of specifications and/or have been subjected to uses/purposes for which they are not expressly intended. FIT’s liability is limited to the goods themselves and does not cover any consequential or incidental damages contributed to or resulting from the use, installation, performance or failure of products.

In New Zealand this warranty is additional to the conditions and guarantees of the Consumers Guarantee Act (1993).
