Dimond Advanced Standard Warm Roof System (Codemark Compliant)
Description

Advanced Standard System is a composite post and rail warm roof system that provides thermal performance and effectively manages condensation risks, maximising thermal performance. With various heights, it meets energy efficiency requirements across different Climate Zones in New Zealand.

Key Features
  • Superior Thermal Performance: Dimond Standard ensures exceptional thermal efficiency, enhancing comfort and energy savings.
  • Compliance with NZBC H1 Requirements: With various heights, it meets energy efficiency requirements across different Climate Zones in New Zealand.
  • Condensation Risk Management: Dimond Standard prevents interstitial condensation risks, preserving structure integrity and longevity.
  • Durability and Compliance: Built to last 50 years, it meets rigorous New Zealand Building Code standards.
  • Streamlined Construction Timelines: Allows for early close-in, saving time and resources during construction.
  • Weather-tightness and Compliance: Aligns seamlessly with industry regulations for weather-tightness and compliance.
  • Aesthetic: Choice of roof profile including Dimondek 630 clip-fastened roof sheets in continuous lengths up to 90m.

Straightforward: Easy to install to Building Code requirements using the Metal Roofing Code of Practice; building is closed in quickly enabling sequencing of sub-trades to be optimised. Easy to maintain as the roof sheet can easily be replaced if damaged without disturbing the insulation.
  • For New Zealand: Designed in New Zealand specifically for the rigors of New Zealand’s environment. New Zealand Building Code compliant to clause E2/AS1 and H1.

Scope of Use

Advanced Standard System is intended to be installed over structural purlins at appropriate spacings to suit both the Dimond Base Sheet and the Dimond Top Sheet fastening requirements.

  • Where timber purlins are used, use minimum 70mm wide purlins.
  • Dimond BIB Insulation is available in a range of thicknesses to achieve thermal insulation R values up to R7.
  • The control of moisture and condensation is achieved with Dimond Lap Seal Tape on the Dimond Base Sheet and a layer of breathable Dimond Underlay laid over the Dimond BIB Insulation ensuring no build-up of moisture within the system.
  • The Dimond Top Sheet covering can be selected from Dimond's range of long-run roof profiles and coated metal materials to match performance to the environment. This includes the scope to use site-rolled, clip fastened decking profiles to achieve a continuous roof covering sheet in lengths up to 90m from ridge to gutter.
  • Multi-layer skylights can be incorporated to achieve the required balance between natural lighting levels and thermal insulation.
Limitations on Use
  • Not intended for installation over a plywood liner.
  • Roof pitch meets the minimum required pitch for the selected top sheet product.
