Project background
The Molley Green Development is a multi-dwelling residential project where Chancellor Construction needed a roofing solution capable of balancing performance, durability, installation efficiency and cost across a large number of homes. With a build programme to protect and a consistent standard to maintain across every dwelling, the project called for a roofing system that would perform reliably at scale without adding complexity on site.
A technically led specification
Chancellor Construction's project management team took a technically led approach to specification, evaluating roofing options against durability, corrosion resistance, installation practicality and overall value. Dimond Roofing's Veedek profile, manufactured from ColorCote ZinaCore steel, was selected for its combination of proven weathertight performance, reliable corrosion resistance and straightforward installation. The profile's ease of installation helped reduce construction complexity, supporting close coordination between designers, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the build.
The result
The completed development reflects the value of pairing informed product selection with disciplined project management. Veedek roofing on ColorCote ZinaCore steel gave Chancellor Construction a consistent appearance across every dwelling, cost-effective performance without compromising quality, and long-term value for homeowners and developers. For architects, designers and builders working on multi-dwelling developments, Molley Green demonstrates how the right roofing specification can support both construction efficiency and long-term building performance.
