• Moisture Exposure Limits: Panels are water and stain resistant but not fully waterproof. They must not be used in continuous wet-area applications (such as direct shower enclosures) or exposed to prolonged pooling water or extreme humidity.

Compac Panels TitanPanel, if designed, used, installed, and maintained in accordance with the conditions of Compac Panels' technical documents, will comply with, or contribute to compliance with, the following performance provisions of the NZ Building Code:

• Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1(c) 5 years.
• E3 Internal Moisture: E3.3.5
• Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1.

TitanPanel is made in Dargaville and has been used in projects around the country since 2010.

• The MDF substrate used in TitanPanel has been tested to NZBC VM2 / C/VM2 and achieved a Fire Classification Group Number 3 rating.
  The HPL surface laminate complies with standard BS EN 438-3.
• New Zealand made MDF substrates meets ultra-low formaldehyde emission criteria — E0 (< 0.5 mg/L). 
• Wood fibers are sourced from FSC-certified New Zealand radiata pine forests and processed through FSC/PEFC accredited mills.
• Non-Toxic Manufacturing: Lamination processes are completed without harsh or toxic chemicals, using eco-friendly European wood-product laminate paper rather than plastics. No rainforest timber products are used.
• 100% Electrical Energy: Produced in a state-of-the-art facility operating 100% on electricity drawn from New Zealand's grid (82% renewable).
• Resource Recycling: Cardboard packaging materials are recycled locally, and clean timber waste is diverted to agricultural composting.

Warranty & Maintenance:

• Supported by a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee against faulty materials or defective manufacturing workmanship when handled and specified correctly. 
• Clean using a warm, damp microfibre cloth (well-wrung) and dry immediately with a clean cloth. Standard streak-free glass cleaner or mild dishwashing liquid can be used for stubborn marks. 
• Do not use abrasive powders, bleach, scouring pads, sandpaper, wire wool, or solvent thinners as these will permanently damage the surface finish and void the warranty.
