• Residential Joinery: Recommended for interior cabinetry, wardrobe doors, passage doors, and decorative wall panelling in low-wear dry areas.
• Green Building Projects: Ideal for interior specifications where low chemical emissions and Greenstar environmental credits are required.

• Interior Vertical Applications Only: Restricted to dry interior vertical surfaces and ceilings; not suitable for horizontal worktops, kitchen benchtops, or floor applications.  
• Scratch & Wear Sensitivity: Features a lacquered polyurethane finish rather than a melamine resin face, resulting in lower scratch and wear resistance than standard heavy-duty melamine laminates.  
• Light Exposure: Not recommended for areas subjected to high direct or reflected sunlight exposure, as natural age-related colour changes will accelerate with heat, light, and humidity.  
• Moisture Limits: Formulated for dry-use areas only; not suitable for wet-area wall linings (such as direct shower enclosures or areas subject to persistent steam).

Compac Panels NaturaWood if designed, used, installed, and maintained in accordance with the conditions of Compac Panels' technical literature, will comply with, or contribute to compliance with, the following performance provisions of the NZ Building Code:

• Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1(c) 5 years.
• E3 Internal Moisture: E3.3.5
• Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1.

NaturaWood is made in Dargaville and has been used in projects around the country since 2025.

• Achieves an E0 formaldehyde emission rating (<0.5 mg/L) with zero added formaldehyde, PVC, or phenols in the CLPL surface, ensuring safe indoor air quality during processing and occupancy.
• Light Reflectance Values (LRV): Tested values vary across finishes — Burnished Oak (9.24), Clear Oak (40.83), Pale Oak (58.32), and Pewter Oak (37.69).
• Environmental Choice Licensed Substrate: Substrate meets ECNZ guidelines for ultra-low formaldehyde emissions (E0 <0.5mg/L}
• FSC Certified Core: Manufactured using wood fibre derived from FSC-certified, managed New Zealand pine forests.  
• Combustion Safety: Free of PVC and heavy metals; does not release toxic or corrosive gases when exposed to fire.

Warranty & Maintenance

• Supported by a 10-year manufacturer's warranty against material defect or faulty workmanship when specified and installed in accordance with technical recommendations.
• Clean with a warm, damp microfibre cloth and wipe dry immediately. Mild household surface cleaner or dishwashing liquid can be used for persistent marks.
• Do not clean with abrasive powders, bleach, scouring pads, sandpaper, or harsh solvent thinners as these will permanently damage the surface and void the warranty.
