It’s sometimes said you can’t have it both ways.
But what if you could?
What if there was switchgear built to last while reducing carbon emissions?
Enter Vynco’s iNDUSTRY range: switches, sockets and bases made from recycled plastics.
“It’s really exciting. If everyone took this greener route, we’d save 30,000kg of carbon emissions,” says Product Development Manager, Ben Soppitt. “To help you picture it, that’s like carting around 20,000 apples in your backpack!”
But making greener gear is only half the equation. It has to work — and keep working — in the real world.
That’s where Vynco’s design team sets itself apart. They dig deep, exploring a wide range of practical, innovative concepts before bringing their best ideas to life through 3D printing.
Then they put each prototype through the wringer.
“Testing is a really important part of the process,” says Soppitt. “We want to make sure our products will go the distance, so we test rigorously for impact and water ingress.”
And that’s not the end of the eco-road: Vynco’s iNDUSTRY range also comes packaged in recyclable material.
So, if you want switchgear that’s tough, tested, sustainable — and proudly designed in New Zealand — get in behind.
