Description

The Vynco Cyprus Bathroom wall heater is designed for efficient, consistent heating. Built with safety in mind, the Cyprus features a ceramic heating element with overheat protection, dual thermal safety cut-outs and automatic step-down thermostat. The CYprus meets full AS/NZ compliance.

2000W with easy retrofit bracket to upgrade a VH2124 model.

Available in three finishes — brushed stainless steel (VHBCS), matte white (VHBCW), and matte black (VHBCB), Cyprus is made to match Vynco switchgear.

Scope of Use
  • Suitable for permanent installation in residential and light commercial bathrooms
  • Hard-wired to fixed wiring by a registered electrician
  • Intended for indoor use only
  • IP20 rated — not suitable for installation within Zone 0, Zone 1, or Zone 2 of a bathroom as defined under AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.
  • Dimensions 210 x 300 x 120mm
  • Suitable for wall mounting where adequate clearance from combustible surfaces can be maintained
  • Wall mount bracket supplied
Limitations on Use
  • Not suitable for outdoor or unenclosed wet area installation; IP20 rating restricts use to Zone 3 and beyond as defined under AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
  • Must be installed by a registered electrician; contains no user-serviceable parts
  • Hard-wired only — not suitable for plug-in or portable use
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Clause B1 – Structure: The Cyprus heater is supplied with a wall mount bracket designed to support the unit under normal operating conditions. Installation must be carried out in accordance with the supplied installation instructions to ensure structural adequacy of the wall fixing.
  • Clause B2 – Durability: The Cyprus heater is constructed from flame retardant polycarbonate (UL 94 classified), steel or brushed stainless steel cover, and powder-coated aluminium grille. Materials are selected for durability appropriate to an indoor bathroom environment. Product has undergone accelerated life and environmental testing including rapid thermal cycling and endurance testing throughout the development process.
  • Clause F2 – Hazardous Building Materials: The Cyprus heater does not incorporate any materials listed as hazardous under the New Zealand Building Code or the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
  • Clause G4 – Ventilation: The Cyprus heater is intended for use in bathrooms where adequate ventilation is provided in accordance with NZBC Clause G4 requirements. The unit must not be installed in a manner that obstructs or compromises existing ventilation provisions.
