With a 25 year warranty on the underlying powder coating, and 10 year warranty on the woodgrain pattern, Metwood provides a long lasting alternative to your cladding, feature walls, soffits, louvres or battens. It can also be used internally to provide a hard wearing fit-out to busy areas, with the underlying powder coating being 300 times more scratch resistance than normal powder coating. Add to this the benefits of aluminium, and you have a strong and durable product that will last the test of time.
Virtually maintenance free
Only a simple washdown is required, similar to standard powder coating, allowing you to benefit over time from its low maintenance requirements, reducing or eliminating the need for costly scaffolding and re-coating.
Fire rating
Metwood has obtained a Group 1 – S internal fire rating and Class A external fire rating. Essentially, as Metwood is a thin coating, it doesn’t affect the fire rating performance of an aluminium system, which means that you can achieve a timber look wherever an aluminium system meets the fire rating requirements. This allows you to apply Metwood on surfaces right up to the boundary edge, at height in a structure, or on a ceiling or battens in an internal fitout.

With hundreds of different finishes available, you can find a finish to match your requirements, whether that is a light, subtle, dark or bold woodgrain finish, there is something for every situation. And its not just woodgrains; patina, and marble finishes are also available.
