MetecnoSpan Fire Retardant Roofing Panels

The thicknesses available are 40mm, 60mm, 80mm and 100mm thick. Thermal performance ranges from R-value2.25 for a 40mm panel through to R-value 5.11 for a 100mm thick panel. The panels are composite, ensuring the insulation values are maintained and also aids in preventing condensation.

There are three internal finish choices available (depending on project size and delivery time requirements):

  • Fineline
  • Micro V Rib
  • Fineline

Metecnospan panels are constructed by sandwiching an insulating, fire retardant PIR core between two sheets of pre-painted Colorbond steel. The result is a strong durable panel with an attractive, easy to maintain surface. The two layers of steel provide the panels with an integral strength that permits exceptional spans requiring fewer structural supports.

PIR is a rigid polyurethane foam and made from HCFC and CFC free blowing agents. PIR offers proven fire risk reduction qualities. MetecnoSpan is Factory Mutual approved under FM 4471 and 4880 – unlimited height.
