Black is the New Green with Masons' Plastics Recycling Scheme

In their quest for a better future, Masons Plastabrick Ltd is proud to be contributing to helping reduce the negative impact of construction on the environment by actively promoting and enabling an initiative to recycle plastic construction waste. Introducing the Masons Merchant DPC Recycling Scheme.

What is the Merchant DPC Recycling Scheme?

It is the collection of plastic waste such as hard to recycle industrial plastic packaging and post-consumer plastic.

The material then gets put through an intensive cleaning process prior to conversion into recycled plastic resin beads. This resin is then used to produce new products in New Zealand such as Masons very own Dry Fix DPC.

How Does It Work?

Masons place a collection bin at participating Merchant depots and provide training sessions and brochures on what kind of plastics can be taken. Once full, the bin is collected and replaced with another empty one.

It’s a great recycling service for builders and tradies and the merchants enjoy increased foot traffic to their store because of it. Everyone is a winner!
