Dyson Airblade Hand Dryer Eliminates 99 Percent of Germs

The Airblade hand dryer forces unheated air through an aperture the width of an eyelash at over 640 kilometres per hour to create a high velocity blade of air that wipes hands dry in just 10 seconds; hand rubbing is not needed to aid drying.

The machine’s sealed casing is infused with anti-microbial additives, eliminating 99.9% of surface bacteria. As a result, it is suitable for hygiene critical locations like hospitals and food preparation areas.

Places the Dyson Airblade has been installed  include Auckland watering hole 1885; Viaduct Harbour restaurant The Foodstore; MOTAT; Eden Park; Saint Kentigern School; Westpac’s new Britomart offices; some YMCA centres; Waikato Institute of Technology; Queenstown Airport, the Michael Fowler Centre, Britomart Transport Centre and various  shopping centres nationwide, including some Westfield malls. Dyson Airblade has also been installed at fast food restaurants including some McDonalds and KFC outlets.
