The cupboard space under sinks and around basins is generally a storage wasteland. Bulky pipes and drains mean there’s usually room for no more than one or two shelves. It’s an awkwardly shaped, under-utilised space that often becomes the repository for random cleaning products and dishcloths.
Blum looked at this lost opportunity and found a simple solution. By designing a range of u-shaped drawers, extra layers of storage could be inserted into kitchens, laundries and bathrooms. Simply replace the cupboard with a u-shaped drawer directly around the sink, and then add multiple layers of drawers below.
