Description

VFloat Super Toned glass offers deeper colours and significantly enhanced solar performance compared to standard toned glass. It maintains natural interior views with low external reflectance while providing an economical solution for reducing cooling costs.

  • Superior Solar Control – SuperGrey delivers the highest solar control of any uncoated float glass (SHGC 0.35).
  • Very Low Light Transmission – Approximately 9% visible light transmittance, effectively reducing glare.
  • Privacy Enhancement – Dark grey tone limits external visibility and reduces see-through.
  • Glare Reduction – Suitable for skylights and areas near computer monitors.
  • Energy Efficiency – Helps reduce air-conditioning demand by lowering solar heat gain.
  • Processable Like Float Glass – Can be cut, fabricated, and processed similarly to standard float glass.
  • Thermal Stress Consideration – High solar absorption requires assessment for potential thermal breakage.
  • Heat Treatment Recommended – Should be specified as heat-strengthened or toughened in all applications.
