Description

Velux sun tunnels are designed to provide daylight in any room where you need light without a sky view. Features a stylish low profile with curb mounted roof module.

Key Features
  • 350mm diameter with double glazed diffuser
  • Use where ceiling to roof distance is between 900-6000mm
  • Standard length is 1200mm extendable to 6000mm using ZTR extension pieces    
  • Stylish low profile, curb mounted roof module
  • Custom made flashing required
Scope of Use
  • The Velux low-pitch rigid sun tunnel can be installed in roofs with 0° to 60° pitches.
  • Wind zones up to and including Extra High 
Limitations on Use

For roof pitches of 15° to 60° use a Velux sun tunnel for pitched roofs.

BRANZ Appraised (Appraisal No.970)

Meets the New Zealand Building Code requirements for:

  • B2 - Durability (15 years)
  • E3 - External Moisture (tested to AS4285)
  • F2 - Hazardous Building Materials
  • G4 - Natural Ventilation (can be used to meet the G4 requirements)
  • G7 - Natural Light (can be used to meet the G7 requirements)
  • H1 - Energy Efficiency (exceeds the minimum R-value requirements for skylights in all climate zones)
