Adjustable Tilt Solar Mounting System
Description
A flexible solution ideal for solar panel installation where the roof has been designed on a low pitch or flat. Tilt Legs has been developed as a universal PV-mounting system for pitched and flat roofs. With three adjustable tilt legs, these parts can tilt panels from between 10-60 degrees, for improved solar gain to maximise energy production.
Key Features
- Designed for residential solar installations — suitable for tin and tile roofs across a wide range of roof types.
- Fast and simple installation using Clenergy’s patented Z-Module technology, allowing components to be inserted anywhere along the rail and secured quickly with only three hand grips.
- Versatile mounting options including a large range of roof hooks, tin fixings, tilt legs, and adapters.
- Adjustable tilt angles from 10° to 60° for improved solar performance on flat or low‑pitch roofs. Tilt legs suit all common purlin distances.
- Universal compatibility with most framed solar modules (30–46 mm frame height), with clamps also available for frameless and thin‑film modules.
- High-quality materials including structural grade aluminium alloy and stainless steel for long-term durability and corrosion resistance.
- Reduced fixing requirements with ECO-Rail design, providing stronger spans and faster installation.
- Range of accessories such as cable clips, isolator shade brackets, grounding components, and rail end caps.
Scope of Use
- Suitable for flat roofs and low‑pitch roofs where adjustable tilt is required to optimise solar performance.
- Compatible with tin and tiled roofs when using the appropriate interface components.
- Designed for residential rooftop PV arrays; also applicable to small commercial installations using compatible roof types.
- Adjustable tilt legs allow installation on buildings with standard purlin spacing and varied roof structures.
- Suitable for regions requiring structural or wind-loading compliance, when specified with the correct Clenergy clamps and accessories
Limitations on Use
- May not be suitable for large‑scale commercial or industrial systems without engineering review.
- Larger spans may need ECO‑Rails, additional components, or upgraded structural engineering.
- Angles outside of 10–60° are not supported.
- Not ideal for membrane roofs or any roofs where penetration must be avoided.
