OutFix is suitable for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings, in both new-build and retrofit applications, where continuous external insulation and ventilated rainscreen façade systems are required over timber, steel, or concrete substrates.

OutFix must be designed and installed in accordance with Outright technical documentation and project-specific engineering requirements. System suitability depends on factors including substrate type, cladding weight, wind loads, insulation thickness, fire performance, and environmental exposure. Compatibility with selected cladding, insulation, and façade components should be verified for each project.

When designed, specified, and installed in accordance with Outright technical documentation and project-specific engineering requirements, OutFix contributes to compliance with the New Zealand Building Code, including Clauses B1 Structure, B2 Durability, E2 External Moisture, F2 Hazardous Building Materials, and H1 Energy Efficiency, as applicable to the building design.
