When designed, installed and maintained in accordance with Black Diamond Technologies’ installation requirements, the AquaCore system supports compliance with relevant New Zealand Building Code performance requirements, including:

• NZBC Clause G12 Water Supplies — Supports the supply of heated potable water, including built-in mandatory legionella control operation. The AquaCore carries out a weekly deep disinfect cycle, activating the cylinder electric element as required to ensure tank temperature meets G12 compliance. Compliant with AS/NZS 4020:2018. 
• NZBC Clause H1 Energy Efficiency — AquaCore supports more energy-efficient domestic hot water heating compared with traditional direct electric water heating, with a COP of up to 3.6 under rated conditions. 

Note: Final compliance depends on the complete hot water system design, cylinder compatibility, installation quality and compliance with all applicable plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and building regulations.
