Description

Triton Duo 60™ is a made in New Zealand mass loaded 60mm thick composite ceiling panel designed to provided attenuation of flanking and transmitted sound as well as broad band sound absorption for reverberation control. Triton panels are available in a wide range of sizes and decorative colours, wood prints, perforated acoustic patterns and Hygiene laminates for design freedom.

Manufactured in NZ from 50mm 48 kg/m³ bio-soluble glass fibre core with 10mm plasterboard attenuator backer, 320 gsm Sonatex™ / Sonaris™ acoustic laminate finishes.

Scope of Use

Triton Duo 60 is ideal for ceilings under metal roofs to control rain noise, mechanical services, buildings near aircraft flight paths, train lines or for private meeting room ceilings.

Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings.

Limitations on Use

For interior use only, and not in direct contact with water.
Installation shall not commence until the building is watertight and dry
Light fittings shall be independently supported
Backloading max. 1.5 kg/m², point loads shall be independently supported
Max 99% R/H at 45°C
Use hold down clips in areas for seismic
Not for air return plenums

NZ Building Code Compliance:

B2 Durability – Clause B2.3.1 (c) (i): Asona ceiling tiles with only normal maintenance will have a minimum durability of at least 5 years when installed in accordance with; manufacturer’s installation requirements and AS/NZS 2785:2020.
C3 Fire – Clause C/AS2 4.12.1: Asona Triton Duo 60 has a Fire Material Group Number 1-S by NZBC Building Product Specification Parts 8.5.4 or 8.5.5, tested in accordance with ISO 9705 or ISO 5660.
