Description

AO-Gami is a proprietary composite glass mat acoustical paper designed for sound absorbing ceiling and light features. AO-Gami can be thermoformed into shapes and folds to make interesting organic acoustic features that diffuse light when hung under light wells. AO-Gami has a naturally smooth flat durable finish. Available in pre-finished white or bespoke colours and designs.

Acoustically transparent material
Semi rigid acoustic paper behaves as both a porous absorber for acoustical performance and translucent diffuser of light
Available in 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 ply layers to suit application and strength requirements
1200mm wide, lengths to 3600mm
Available in colours, bespoke patterns and designs

Scope of Use

For use as a feature under light wells or to be used alongside other acoustic panels as an additional acoustic treatment.

Limitations on Use

AO-Gami is not a stand alone acoustic product but an additional feature treatment to be used in conjunction with the Triton Range of acoustic ceiling panels.

In-Service History

AO-Gami is a unique new product launched for the first time as a lantern feature in the ASB Queen Street flagship branch on 20th April 2015.

Other Performance Attributes

Environmental impact: High embodied energy, 100% recyclable, contains 85% recycled glass content.
Humidity: Non hydroscopic, dimensionally stable, max. 100% R/H.
Maintenance: Clean with vacuum, soft brush or damp cloth. Scuff marks can be removed by light use of fine grade sandpaper.
