When Concrete Anchoring Calls for Stainless Steel

Simpson Strong-Tie has introduced the Titen Turbo Stainless Steel Concrete and Masonry Screw Anchor (TNTSS), combining patented Turbo thread technology with a Type 316 stainless steel body. Designed as a medium-duty anchoring solution, it provides a corrosion-resistant option for concrete and masonry applications where long-term structural integrity is important.

The Type 316 stainless steel body provides long-lasting corrosion resistance in severe environments, while a hardened alloy steel tip with serrations is designed to cut through concrete. An engineered TruShield coating provides additional protection against dissimilar metals.

A key feature is the patented Torque Reduction Channel, which traps dust where it cannot obstruct the thread action, reducing the likelihood of binding during installation. Titen Turbo is designed for installation with a cordless drill or impact driver, providing a practical fastening option across a range of applications.

Available with either a hex head or a T-25, 6-lobe flat head for a flush profile, Titen Turbo Stainless Steel is suited to applications including window and door frames, light fixtures, coastal environments, clean rooms, food and drink processing facilities, and agricultural facilities.
