Almost Finished Ceiling and Wall Panels Popular with Clients, Builders and Painters Alike

The popularity of Plankwall Almost Finished follows hot on the heels of Plankwall Standard unpainted panels — an interior lining option that adds bracing performance and eliminates the need for the dusty process of stopping, hastening project completion.

Both Plankwall Standard and Almost Finished are available in either 9mm and 12mm thickness, grooved at either 100m or 150mm centres, and in lengths of 2440mm, 2745mm and 3660mm (all x 1200mm).

Almost Finished is factory UV coated, with two white face coats, and a clear rear coat to provide a sealed panel, reducing panel movement. Painters applying the final finish are impressed with how level the ceiling or wall panels are to start with, and how easy it is to spray with the grooves sealed. This ease of finishing, signficantly shortens completion times.

Plankwall have received excellent feedback from homeowners and builders alike who enjoy the look, affordability and ease of use of the panels.

Te Ataahua Guest House

At Te Ataahua Guest House, Plankwall Almost Finished panels were used to line the pitched ceiling, with the grooved lining adding an elegant textured look.

“We have finished our project and so happy with Plankwall V grooved panels," says Hannah Oakly, Te Ataahua Guest House. "We have been telling lots of people about your product. It's hard to find great products at an affordable price and companies that are so easy to deal with at the moment.”

KDL Tiny Homes

The team at KDL Tiny Homes use Plankwall to line walls and ceilings of their tiny home builds, and have seen Plankwall V Groove become increasingly popular with their clients.

“The most outstanding thing about the Plankwall V groove MDF is that it is by far the most popular lining," say Ken and Lorna Maddock from KDL Tiny Homes. "A lot of people have really liked the blue painted lining and the beachy feel that it gives to the cabin. Anything beach related is always good! Also, a lot of customers value the cosiness of tiny homes and the V groove lining complements this rather than a flat lining”
