Qwickbuild: The Structural Solution for Creating Rooftop Decks

QwickBuild is a lightweight, low profile, height adjustable structural framework for low height applications from 40mm to 400mm. It is designed to support hardwood timbers, composite decking, exterior tiles and synthetic turf ranges using hidden interlocking fastenings. QwickBuild is one of the only systems available that offer the versatility of integrating different surfaces whilst solving issues associated with low height installations.

Delivered to site as kit set components or made to measure, the QwickBuild structures are manufactured from corrosion resistant marine-grade, anodised, structural aluminium joists and bearers, resulting in a perfectly straight, rigid, stable structure. Traditional timber frames are replaced with lightweight durable pre-made frames.

Case study: Commercial rooftop space in Melbourne

Outdure's QwickBuild framing system, Stone Inspire structural tiles, ResortDeck high performance decking and UltraPlush Turf were chosen for this recently completed exterior rooftop space in Melbourne. The installers achieved fast, efficient installation, completing 250m² of the 450m² QwickBuild framework in only two days. Turf is supported by the QwickBuild aluminium baseboard.

The ranges of commercial and residential profiles with a load capacity of up to 5KN point load form part of a complete proprietary system including access and ventilation grilles, adjustable height pedestals and other accessories. The long-span capabilities result in fewer footings, significantly reducing installation time on site.

QwickBuild is ideal for exterior projects from commercial rooftop decks, apartment complexes, schools and aged care facilities through to simple backyard renovations. Outdure provides a customised design service for all projects including technical advice, concept designs and final detailed structure design and installation details.
