Inspired by natural materials, the collection showcases Karndean's most intricate and realistic embosses to date, each handcrafted to reflect the unique patterns and textures of real stone.

The new Art Select Stone collection features four slate, two marble, three travertine and two limestone designs. Uniquely, each design has been created from its original inspiration stone recovered from various locations throughout the world including the steps of a former parliament house building in Melbourne, natural hot springs located in Yellowstone National Park, USA and a quarry in the Province of Massa, Tuscany.

Art Select Travertine

With a striking palette of three natural earthy tones, Karndean's travertine designs are full of energy and style — just like the stones that inspired them from Yellowstone National Park, home to Mammoth Hot Springs.

From the cool and fresh tones of 'Washburn' to the deep, contrasting blue and grey hues of 'Gallatin', these timeless travertines are available in extra-large (18" x 24") rectangular floor tiles and matching FreeLengths — perfect for open plan living spaces.

Art Select Parliament Slate

Striking a definite note of sophistication, Karndean's Parliament Slates are inspired by the rich hues and intricate natural textures of slate recovered from the steps of a former parliament house building in Melbourne, before its relocation to Australia's capital, Canberra in 1988.

Whilst 'Melbourne' is a true match with its rich and forgiving multi-colour palette of mid-grey, blue and earth browns, 'Canberra' encapsulates the original inspiration stone in its darkest form with a black, grey and silver mix of varying colour density. Available in extra-large 18" x 24" tiles.

Art Select Welsh Slate

From the cool ambient light tones found in 'Corris' to the intriguing tonal greys, greens and understated hint of petroleum found in 'Oakeley', these Welsh Slates pay tribute to two of Wales' largest quarries, Oakeley and Corris.

Handcrafted to reflect the true rugged texture and natural charm of natural slate, they are available in a random pattern (36" x 36") tile for a beautifully realistic look.

Art Select Marble

Understated and classic, 'Otono' and 'Fiore' marble stones are the epitome of elegance. Inspired by white and blue-grey marble quarried in the province of Massa, Italy, they are available in medium 16" x 16" stone tiles or 16" x 16" clipped corner stone tiles with matching key squares.

Art Select Limestone

Inspired by the coastlines of the Channel Islands, Karndean's limestone designs are cool, fresh and naturally earthy with a dappled handcrafted texture.

From the cool calm hues of 'Alderney' to the light buttery tones of 'Jersey', each design comes in a random (36" x 36") layout reflecting the random nature of real stone flooring.
