GreenTag is a third party green building product rating and certification system. It simplifies the process of identifying, comparing and sourcing products for their environmental credentials.

Karndean Designflooring already holds GreenTag Level A certification for low emitting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and reduced exposure to pollutants, but this certification focuses on one particular area — a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

LCA is used to determine the environmental and Whole of Life (WoL) impact associated with a product — evaluating sustainability, recycled content and energy emissions.
