Juralco’s latest addition to its range of balustrade innovations is the Stecca Postless Fin Balustrade. With a design that removes traditional vertical posts to deliver an integrated panel with uninterrupted sightlines and a minimalist aesthetic, this new balustrade provides greater architectural flexibility without compromising on structural integrity.
Top or Face Fixed to timber, concrete, or steel, the system provides more options for designers with its subtle aspect when viewed from the front, and a side or angled profile that is comb-like, adding an extra dimension of depth.
Stecca is a popular solution for external settings, such as balcony and deck barriers, and is suitable for areas up to Extra High wind zones (2.5kPa max). Stecca also makes an attractive option for internal staircase transitions and balustrades, as well as being Pool Fence Compliant with Building Code clause F9. Specifiable with a Producer Statement (PS1), the following Domestic and Residential occupancy types are covered: A, A Other, B, C3 & E only (as per AS/NZ 1170.1.2002), and it is compliant with NZS1170, NZS4223.3.2016, NZBC Clause F9, and 162C of the Building Act.
The fins are manufactured from high-quality aluminium made to 6060 T5 specifications, along with marine-grade 316 Stainless Steel components, hardware and fixings, and finished in a durable powder coat, ensuring long-term corrosion resistance in coastal and high-exposure environments.
Stecca has been designed to bring modern styling and architectural interest to projects, providing extra depth and choice for designer professionals. Juralco provides full technical documentation, details and PS1 support to assist designers through the consent process.
