Differing is the modular Nuway entrance matting, which captures the dirt on top in the aluminium profile which is easily cleaned and so the dirt is not tracked through by the next person. Also, Nuway is the only reversible product currently available in New Zealand, enhancing its life time.

Burgess Matting has also expanded the potential of its Abzorba acoustic sound-barrier underlay. Made in New Zealand from 100% recycled rubber, Abzorba is ideal for the reduction of noise transfer between ceilings and floors as it complies to the building ‘airborne and impact sound’ requirements. Additionally, Abzorba has been tested and proven to provide anti-fatigue properties, accommodates floor movement and acts as an easy-to-handle solution.

Abzorba can be laid internally, over a concrete slab and under wooden floor or ceramic tiles. The Abzorba product is manufactured in 1 m x 500 mm x 6mm sections for ease of transport, handling on site and minimizing waste.
